Our Vision
New Vineyard vision is to provide a spiritual, loving, caring and warm environment where children are free to learn, grow and play. Our main vision is for children to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and to help foster their spiritual development in their new relationship with Christ or their existing relationship with Christ. We desire to draw all students, parents, and employees to a loving and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ through on-going activities, invitations to church and church activities.
Our Mission
New Vineyard staff will strive to provide quality childcare and educational services that promote and enhance each child’s development while assuring our parent’s peace of mind in the care and service we render. New Vineyard provides a safe, nurturing and age-appropriate program which fosters active learning, support for the whole child, a Christian atmosphere, and a child friendly environment.
Our History
New Vineyard Academy, the Home of the Tigers, is located in southwest Jackson near the city of Byram. Since opening in 2014, the Academy has grown from a summer camp program into a full educational center offering preschool, afterschool care, elementary education, tutoring, and summer programs. In 2020, the kindergarten through 5th grade program was added, expanding our academic services.
Under the leadership of Pastor Gregory Divinity, our school has continued to thrive with strong community partnerships, dedicated parental support, year-round food services, and programs that serve both our students and at-risk children in the community. We remain committed to excellence in education and to being a blessing to the families we serve.
